Michael J. Salmanson, Esquire
Mike Salmanson has a quarter century of experience representing employers and employees in employment-related matters and commercial litigation, including cases under the anti-discrimination statutes, ERISA, wage payment and collection statutes, the False Claims Act and other federal, state and local laws. He litigates cases from inception through trial, provides counseling, and negotiates employment contracts of all types and settlements of claims. He is a frequent lecturer on employment-related topics.
Mike is especially well-known in the fields of employment discrimination, ERISA and the False Claims Act. He has been named a "Super Lawyer" in the field of employment law every year, and was recently named a "Best Lawyer in America."
Mike has been with our firm since its inception in 1999, and with its predecessor, Salmanson & Falcao, LLC, from 1997 through 1999. His prior work experience includes positions at Dechert (1986 to 1992) and Mager, Liebenberg & White (1992 to 1997). He has served on the adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Law School since 1990, and currently holds the title of Adjunct Professor of Law.
Mike received his J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1986, and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, cum laude, in 1982.
He has served for several years on the board of the Family Hope Center in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a facility for the treatment of brain-injured children. He also serves on the Philadelphia Committee of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. He has formerly served on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Council of Princeton University.
